Learner's Driving Program 2010
45 Women recently gained their learner's license through our Drive to Employment Program. The rogram was funded by Office of Women. NCTC worked in partnership with The Learning Workshop and Indigenous Licensing Unit of the Department of Transport
West Cairns Indigenous Youth Justice Program was placed 6th out of 80 projects nationally in the 2010 Australia Crime and Viloence Prevention awards. The Award and a cheque for $5000 was recently presented to NCTC General Manager Lolita Lampton and WCIYJP co-ordinator Melissa Bann in a special ceremony by the QLD Police Commissioner at QLD Police Headquarters.
